В 1974 году в окрестностях Сианя были найдены тысячи терракотовых фигур — воины, созданные для охраны первого императора единого Китая Цинь Шихуанди. Сегодня это место входит в список Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО и стало одним из крупнейших военно-исторических музеев Китая. Посетителям открыты три ямы, где можно увидеть армию вблизи, и Музей терракотовых воинов и лошадей. Отдельный раздел — парк-мавзолей Лишань (захоронение самого императора), где также выставлены фигуры гражданских чиновников и древних акробатов. Билет продаётся с сопровождением гида — на английском или китайском языке, в формате сборной группы.
