Description

This is a high-quality route that connects architectural aesthetics, Japanese gardens, ancient beliefs, and lakeside secrets, creating a quiet and restrained overall atmosphere that is stunning everywhere. It's a niche INS-style journey that becomes more immersive as you go ✨. The journey begins at the Miho Museum, known as the "real-life Shangri-La." Designed by master architect I.M. Pei, 80% of the building is hidden in the mountains. Crossing through tunnels and suspension bridges, the view suddenly opens up in layers, as if you are really entering the world of "The Peach Blossom Spring." The architectural lines are minimalist yet powerful, perfectly blending with the mountains, forests, sky, and light and shadow. Every step is a high-end composition 📐🌿. The museum's collection spans diverse ancient civilizations, where art and nature echo each other. The pink tunnel during the cherry blossom season adds a soft-focus filter to the entire space. Next, we visit the Kyu-Chikurin-in Temple, a photographer's private "Rurikoin alternative." The attic's wooden table reflects the garden scenery, forming a transparent and serene mirror image. Without crowds or time restrictions, you can slowly find your perfect angle. Moss, maple leaves, rocks, and flowing water create a Zen-like picture. With a cup of matcha in hand, time seems to be paused 🍵. If it is closed, we will go to Hiyoshi Taisha Shrine on Mount Hiei instead. It is the head shrine of more than 3,800 Hie and Hiyoshi shrines in Japan. The red Sanno torii gate and the "messenger monkeys" throughout the shrine give the entire shrine a solemn yet lively atmosphere. During the autumn foliage season, the shrine is surrounded by red leaves, with extremely rich color levels, making every shot a blockbuster ⛩️. At the end of the journey, the water torii gate of Shirahige Shrine on Lake Biwa welcomes a high point of emotion. The torii gate stands quietly in the lake, presenting different expressions with changes in light, weather, and water color. Fishing boats pass through it, making the picture clean and powerful. There is no noise here, only the lake breeze, the sky, and the traces of the passage of time, making it a place to truly slow down 🌊. ## This route does not pursue excitement, but uses architecture, nature, and faith to create a highly aesthetic trip that is both beautiful and enjoyable to walk.
