This module introduces learners to Singapore’s local tea culture through hands-on preparation of Teh Tarik, Teh Limau, and Singapore-style Bubble Tea. Learners practise key techniques such as pulling tea for texture, balancing tea with citrus, and preparing milk tea with pearls, while understanding ingredients and flavour balance. The programme also explores kopitiam tea foundations, common orders like teh, teh O, and teh C, and local customisation terms. Through this experience, learners gain insight into how Singapore’s multicultural influences shape everyday tea practices and develop the confidence to recreate these beverages independently.
